Experimentation for front covers:

I really liked this attempt as a first try but there are certain things I don't like about it. I think elements are overcrowded and I wouldn't be able to use the image for copyright reasons. 

This attempt is ok but I don't really like it. I think it looks quite unprofessional and the typeface isn't that nice.

This attempt is a bit more like what I want the final product to look like. I like that the image doesn't shows the models face and is different to what you would normally see. Again, I wouldn't be able to use the image because of copyright issues but it's a good experiment. 

This attempt is the most similar to my final design. This image is my own and I like the white space on the front cover, it's not normally seen on front covers and helps stick to my attempt of making my magazine different. 

I like this attempt a lot and love how it turned out. Again, I love the white space again and the typeface fits much better with the theme of my magazine and I could have used the image as it was a picture drawn for me for this assignment. However, the reason I didn't use it was because the image didn't really fit in with the rest of the magazine. 

Experimentation for contents pages:

This was my first attempt at a contents page and to be totally honest I don't really like it at all. The typeface is too big and the image didn't really fit in with the rest of my magazine.

This is my favourite attempt at a contents page, I love how it turned out and ideally would have used this in my final design. However, because of copyright issues I can't use the image of Twiggy and none of my images worked. 

Experimentation of adverts:

I like both attempts of adverts as they are more informative but when they were in my final magazine they didn't look like adverts and didn't really fit in with the theme of my magazine. 

Experimentation for back cover:

This was just a draft design as I was aware I wouldn't be able to use the image because of copyright issues, but my final design was pretty much the same as this one.
